A farm is a place where you see all the glories of grace and mercy and life anew.

Hardda: to grace, to beautify, to cultivate

Though we hardly refer to it this way any more, we originally chose the name Hardda farm. Hardda is a Welsh verb meaning to grace, beautify or cultivate. Our vision is to see all of those things happen on our farm, in our lives and in the lives of those who visit here.

Food

We began farming as a source of healthier, nutrient dense food for our family. Along with growing vegetables and herbs we raise our own dairy cattle and sheep. For more information on raw milk or lamb meat use the contact form below (or reach out on social media). You can read more about our triple-purpose sheep here.

Flowers

Being one of the most impractical people on earth and a lover of all things beautiful, I couldn’t simply raise a garden full of vegetables. Instead, I grow an abundance of cut flowers and herbs and stick the vegetables in the remaining garden space. Plain Jane flowers offers cut flowers and floristry and has been in operation since 2016.

Fun

A farm is for the people. We love to gather, celebrate or just be together (let’s be honest, eat together) here. For information about visiting or using our farm, please fill out the contact form below.
